Check out my quick ride to test the new Vittoria Corsa G+ clincher tyres on Strava: https://www.strava.com/activities/595012835
Nothing too amazing in my test time result from Strava perspective, however the tyres felt secure and nimble, definitely lighter than my 28mm Continental Gatorskins.
On the ride the tyres gripped well on a slightly damp day, didn’t manage to ride through puddles, but on the tarmac it gave good assurance.
Turning the handlebars felt strong and sharp, perhaps the straight tread helped the wheels to switch direction.
I pumped up the tyres to 100psi, which is high pressured enough for my bones, although these Corsas can be pumped up to 145psi, not sure who can cope with that. Maybe if I was riding super smooth tarmac in a very warm hot country.
Also I couldn’t test the puncture resistance, but let’s say they didn’t puncture or lose pressure on the first ride…
Need to go out on much longer rides to get a longer term review. Check back later for that.
