What’s in the eZo Cycle Full Service?
As part of the Full Bike Service your bicycle will get a thorough clean. Sponge, MUC-Off bike cleaner, and TLC.
Wash out the grime and grit from the wheels, drive train (full degrease) and frame. From top to bottom.
All accessories will be taken off except for mudguards for cleaning.
Rinse down with a hose, not jet spray!
Dry off with a chamois leather.
We begin to check the setup:
Gear system and drivetrain check
Bottom Bracket check
Brake system check
Tyres check, inside and out
Bar grip check and adjust
Saddle and seatpost check
Stem and bar check
If any of these parts are not in good condition or requires replacing, then the client will be notified and given the choice to replace them.
Parts are extra of course, due to variety of choice for the bike.
We strip out the following:
Take off Stem/Steerer and Handlebar to check and clean, then regrease and torque up
Check brake/gear levers and tighten if necessary.
Wheels taken off and checked for smooth running with no play. (wheel hub service, extra £10 per wheel)
Drivetrain checked for wear/stretch, then regrease/lube
Seatpost and saddle taken off to clean and regrease seat tube, then torque up
Reassemble bike back to original measurements and test.
Ready for collection or delivery.
All the above can be done for any bike, whether it is a road bike, commuter bike, cyclocross bike, lesiure bike, city bike, kids bike, etc.
Mountain bikes may need more time depending on the type of MTB it is, but we can discuss that with you when you come in.
Please note, this service is restricted to Coventry and surrounding area, UK, as we are a local bike mechanic workshop. Sorry if you are not in the local area.
Do get in contact if you want some advice for your bike.
