Since helping out back at Yellow Jersey Delivery (YJD) seems to be working out well for me and for YJD, they have asked me to be regular postie for a few hours each week.
This works well for me as it gives me an avenue to ride during the day and still have time to manage eZo Cycle.
The early spring days are getting brighter, although still a little cold, but nothing a good few layers won’t handle.
I ride out with gloves and for post work I do find my MTB gloves works a treat. Although my POC air gloves have worn out now, so I had to get a new pair, decided on a pair of 661 as they were similar to my POCs.
I manage to get YJD rides on a weekly basis and seems to be Tuesdays, although I have done Mondays and Friday recently.
Recently, my post day 9 wasn’t recorded on Strava for some weird reason, I started Strava before I set off, but by the afternoon it had stopped and didn’t record anything. After 2 years of using Strava it is the first time it didn’t record anything.
The DMR V6 pedals are working well, makes getting on and off my bike quite a smooth transition, without compromising my grip on pedal stroke, but of course it isn’t as secure and powerful as my Shimano SPD pedals.
So now I need to get the workshop up and running again so I can turn back to bike building. Next few weeks will be an interesting time.
